Playspace is designed especially for children under 5 years and their caregivers. It’s a place where little imaginations can run free through creative play, hands-on activities and age-appropriate equipment. Come enjoy quality time with your little one and connect with other grown ups in a similar season of life, all while relaxing with a delicious coffee or meal from Middle Ground Café.

Playspace is featured in the “Mamma Knows East” online blog. Why not have a look and get to know us more. We are thankful to be known as a place of fun and welcome for the local community!

Melody Time at Playspace

Melody Time is a joyful musical experience for carers and children, held on Tuesdays and Fridays at Playspace, usually around 10:30am. Each session is thoughtfully designed and facilitated by a Registered Music Therapist, encouraging positive interactions between carers and children while equipping families with simple tools and ideas to use beyond the session.

Children are invited to move, sing, explore and play, using music as the foundation for connection and learning. Filled with colour, variety and plenty of laughter each week, Melody Time offers a rich and creative environment where children — and their carers — can grow together.

Join us when you come to Playspace. There is no extra fee for Melody Time and no need to register.

Yes. You are welcome to bring your own food and drink into Playspace. However, we ask that you not bring any nuts or nuts products as many young children have allergies.
