Why Do We Do What We Do
Because NewHope Care believes that life is about loving God, loving others and serving the world. Our mandate is from Scripture and specifically Micah 6:8:
"But He's [God] already made it plain how to live, what to do, what God is looking for in men and women. It's quite simple:
...do what is fair and just to your neighbor,
...be compassionate and loyal in your love,
...and don't take yourself too seriously
...take God seriously."

Dinner Tonite
is a free meal service to the community 52 weeks of the year. Dinner Tonite places no restrictions on who can access this service. Our guests may be folk just needing a free, wholesome meal, perhaps lonely people needing to reconnect with new friends; perhaps single parents and their children or migrant folk…or those who just want to share a Saturday night meal with others. Dinner Tonite is held every Saturday night from 5 – 6.30pm in the Community Events Room at NewHope
